I can not believe that we are in August…AUGUST!!!! My kiddos only have a few more weeks before school starts and we’ve started booking Santa Sessions!  Amy (our studio manager) said her head started to spin when she saw those go up…but they will be here before you know it!  Football is already the topic on ESPN and I bought my first pumpkin spice candle yesterday!  I adore fall…and after such a busy summer, it’s nice to switch gears.  BUT…not so quick, we have a full three weeks of beach sessions ahead of us, all up and down the coast!

Our fall family calendar is nearly booked for Sara-Anne, Heidi (our associate photographer) has some openings for seniors and family’s.  So we really encourage you, if you are interested in booking this fall (Class of 2018, family or beach sessions) please email or call the studio to schedule.  A few things to think about when scheduling your family pictures.

• What type of images are you looking for (urban, fields, rustic barns etc)
• Family’s schedules, we know that fall is crazy for most people, and we always try to shoot either early in the morning or in the late afternoon.  So have a few dates that you think will work keeping those time frames in mind
• Don’t worry about “what will you wear?”  once you book, we’ll schedule a time to chat with you and also send you a welcome box that is loaded with information that will help you prepare.
• We can shoot all the way until December 1st

I was recently asked how long we shoot beach sessions, and the answer is really year round.  Last year, we did a few over Thanksgiving weekend.  We love fall at the beach…it’s gorgeous!

It started out as a cloudy and rainy day, but ended up simply amazing!  I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening at Ocean Isle Beach and what a joy to work with this family!  They made this photographers job so easy!  I can always tell when family’s enjoy each other and when they are loving their time at the beach and this family was just that!  We started out with some dune pictures…with their little Owen…and then headed down to the shore.  Every step of the way, having fun, enjoying the beach and each other!  Just the way I like it!  Thank you T family for being so awesome!  I adore your family images and love how they showcase your family!
