I get asked all the time…”how does it work?” meaning what is the process for booking family sessions with your studio?

I thought I would outline the process for you all 😉

PORTRAIT GUIDE
We send this to you as soon as you reserve your session through our client booking form, our guide includes all the details about preparing for our session together, how to prepare your family,  what to wear, and how the entire experience works with Sara-Anne Photography taking care of every little detail.  We help you from choosing the best outfit to picking the best heirloom album for your family.  We also include a complete product catalog and pricing menu and some other welcome goodies…this will arrive at your door step in days after booking!  Many of our clients say this was so helpful to them and helped to make the experience so much different than other photographers they have worked with.

CONSULTATION
We can’t wait to talk with you!  Our 15 min consultation, after your welcome box arrives will help answer any questions that you have and to talk with you about your desires and needs from our time together!  We believe in a custom experience and will be with you through the entire process

SESSION
One of the first questions clients ask us is “where will the session take place?”  Because we value a custom experience and we want your session to be one of a kind, we stay away from popular parks and locations used by other photographers.  We have built relationships with venues and private farms in order to assure that your locations are unique.  For our beach clients, we can shoot at your beach access or a location that we choose (usually at the points of the islands)
For our sweet newborn clients, those sessions all take place in our beautiful downtown studio, which is the perfect location for these precious sessions.  You can learn more about the studio here!

AFTER THE SESSION
Offering only the highest quality of artwork, albums and prints that the industry offers is what we pride ourselves on.
While most of our clients leave with digital files for archiving, they all feel that having beautiful artwork to display on their walls and share with their family is the best part. We walk you through the design and ordering process in a private in studio session or phone call (for our out of town clients) to make sure that every detail is covered and you are able to choose the best artwork for your home.  Usually the hardest part is choosing the art to share with your friends and family.

So if you have been on the fence wondering if it was the right time to book a session for your family…we want to assure you that YES it is and our studio will do whatever we can to make the experience one of a kind for you!  Building memories as we capture them!

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with this sweet family, we had planned their session for early February, but weather had us move it and we were so thrilled as we ended up with the most beautiful day in February!  I loved their smiles, their connection, the kiddos were so well behaved and were up to doing whatever I asked.  All of that put together made for some beautiful images!  Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to work with you!
