It’s that time of year when we are booking senior pictures for the class of 2019 as we wrap up 2018 seniors! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about our teen and senior sessions so I thought it would be a great time to answer those!
When is the best time for senior pictures?
Typically the early fall or early spring before all the crazy begins of senior year! Though we do them year round, we try to avoid the dead of summer (it’s so HOT in NC) and dead of winter.
Where will my sessions take place?
We want your session to represent YOU so we will do them anywhere! We’ve been a cow pasture, at the beach, in a stable, with favorite cars, at your campus and more! We will travel wherever you wish!
All the girls look so pretty, I don’t feel pretty can you help?
Yes, we have amazing hair and make up artist like Kara, the one who helped with the pictures below, that is included in all the sessions! We do this because we want you to feel as confident as possible in front of the camera and you are beautiful and we promise you will feel it during your senior pictures!
My boyfriend/girlfriend wants a picture or two, is that okay?
Well…..yes and no! We really want to focus on you, but if your mom is okay with it, then we are for a few!
What is the cost?
We are custom portrait studio so everything we offer is custom for each client! We have the most beautiful products the industry offers including metal prints, wood prints and gorgeous albums! We know that you also want digital images for sharing and posting and those are offered as well. Our session fee for seniors is $150 and our collections are very comparable to the school hosted senior pictures
What if I want to use some in the yearbook!
Sure, we love that!
If I’m a senior, can I participate in the teen shoots?
We want our seniors to be pampered and all the focus on them! Our teen shoots are a wild ride…very busy…very fun, but they are only meant for grades 5th – 11th. Seniors, you get your own shoot!
How do I know what to wear?
We send you lots of ideas and style guides! Once you book, you receive a welcome box from the studio. It has all the things you need to know about working with us and how to prepare for your session!
How many outfits?
We tell our clients to bring a bunch of options with your favorites in mind, typcially they choose about 4 outfits We have lots of experience of knowing what photographs best in front of the camera!
How do I book?

So with all that great information, I am so excited to share this beautiful…and I do mean beautiful young lady’s shoot from our Ocean Isle Beach sessions! She was just so lovely and we enjoyed getting to know she and her mom! These sessions take some time so I feel that we bond a bit with it all! LOL! I just adore all her outfits and the fact that we did get a few on the beach…her home!
