Its the end of a crazy busy week at both at our house and at the Burlington Studio…we kicked off our Ocean Isle beach pictures this week with a beautiful family sunset session. I’ve been battling the stomach bug and dodging rain storms! Crazy! My kids ended classes and are off to San Franciso and Costa Rica tomorrow and we just got home from Micah jumping in the state track meet (where he finished in the top 15 in the state…whoo hoo) but this mom’s head is spinning! At Sara-Anne Photography we taught a newborn workshop, photographed several seniors, designed numerous grad cards, had a sweet newborn and several babies! It’s been BUSY! I feel my head spinning!
I’m feeling like life is zooming by so fast that I’m not even grasping these amazing moments. I want so badly to be present for my family first and also my clients! I was also thinking about this time last year when my health issues began and I have no idea how I managed! Life goes by so quickly my friends. As I was trying to take a picture of Micah jumping today, I realized that it was more important to see him, jump…his person, best, then it was to photograph it. Yes that’s me the photographer saying that! Put the phones down, be present so that you can truly remember. Now, Im super glad that someone got a video…I love that, but I’m thankful that I watched all three jumps (holding my breath) and took it all in. I feel that as we hustle from one thing to the next, as we try to jam so much into a day, we miss so much. Precious moments that we NEVER get back!
So in this extremely busy time of year, please please take moments to be present in your families lives…you will be so thankful that you did!
With that, I’m so excited to share this beautiful, graceful young lady’s images! I loved working with her at our last Teen Shoot at Ocean Isle Beach!
