It’s been a whirlwind of a week (I’ll share more tomorrow) but as I sat in church this morning, I couldn’t help but to feel so thankful that we made it through. I’ve enjoyed a weekend with no shooting (my last until December 10th) and as usual, I always wish I accomplished more…but it’s been good to force myself to take it easy! I’ve been thankful for a bit cooler temps, for the return to schedules and for some answered prayers.
This past week included 3 soccer games, start of new school for our oldest, learning how to tie a bowtie, our van reaching 250K miles and several warning lights coming on, a newborn and 1 year shoot, chasing an “in heat” dog all over our neighborhood praying no puppy’s our in our future! I sometimes just have to laugh at our crazy life….and at times I think we bring it on ourselves or that God knew that we needed excitement in order to be fully reliant on Him! I was thinking back over the summer…and I can’t believe how quickly it flew.
We’ve had quite a few 1 year olds lately…what a fun age and this little guy’s personality is shinning through big time! I have to say, he’s got his Mommy’s contagious smile! It seems like just yesterday that we were shooting their newborn session and I love it every time this family is in front of my lens, they are a pure joy to work with!
Check out this video…what his folks had to say about when he was just born! PRECIOUS!
and now he’s 1 years old and hanging their moon!
And sometimes we need mom to help us enjoy the cake!
Wearing the outfit that his daddy wore when he was one! LOVE!
I can’t wait for them to see this one in their canvas…when Amy (studio manager) opened it, she squealed!!!
Snuggles with Nan!
