It’s been a whirlwind of a week! One full of me truly trusting in God for strength and answers! I’ve had some major medical issues that I have landed me in the hospital and searching for a lot of answers. I will share more about my story and what it all means in a few days once I have a clearer picture, but for now, I am just thankful that everything is very treatable and that I’m going to be feeling so much better soon!
I am so thankful for family, friends, community that all came to my side and helped support not only me, but also my family, it’s been such a blessing! God has been so faithful and proved Himself over and over. I see how he has ordered steps and guided each and every move.
We continue this week to be busy with beach sessions, newborns and fun little ones. It’s amazing to me how our weeks are filled with new faces (new to the Sara-Anne Photography family) and then clients that have been a part for years! This week is no different. We welcome a new family that we have never photographed before (we love that) and then we also have several clients that we’ve had the pleasure of photographing over the years. It’s such a blessing!
One great joy is watching sweet couples as they celebrate their love through marriage! Because we do quite a few beach weddings, unlike our local weddings, we often are meeting the couple for the first time the day of the wedding. The anticipation of capturing their big day is heightened because we’ve only “met” through skype and emails. This sweet couple was no different. They traveled from Oregon to Holden Beach to hold their wedding. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family and as the sunset, the grooms dad officiated a sweet ceremony! They later dinned on local shrimp and girts and toasted their marriage. We waited until the sun was setting and offered this dreamy glow (when we try to do all our sessions at the beach) and were able to capture some of the sweetest moments with the new bride and groom!
Holden Beach is such a beautiful place for a wedding, not crowded, beautiful beach, and offers cotton candy sunsets all the time! Thank you so much Shelley and Ben for allowing me to be a part of your day! Congratulations on your marriage!
