There are some family’s that I always know I’m going to LOVE our time together. I’m always giddy when they book because I know that it’s just going to be amazing. This is one of those family’s. So I got to thinking about why that is…why is it that their sessions always are fabulous! Here are my thoughts and if you are a photographer, it might help you prepare your clients and if you a client, it might help you prepare for our time together.
- Don’t be a stranger to the camera! This mom not only books sessions with me on a regular basis but she also takes lots of her own images…so her family (dad and miss A) are use to being in front of the camera. They know me, are comfortable with me and this helps so much!
- Trust me! This is such a HUGE benefit to me, they just go with the flow..and let me carry out the session as I think I need to…they allow my creativity to flow and always game for whatever!
- Outfits! Mom has such a great sense of style. She usually always includes me (sends me outifts etc) but she picks out the best outfits! It always makes my images better when the clothing is on point!
- Let the Love Flow! It’s so much easier when clients are comfortable connecting with each other…when they are naturally hug and love on each other. If they are not, I’m going to push them in that direction, so it makes it easier, if right off the bat, they know they are going to have to be close.
- Have fun! We always have fun with this family…there’s laughter, lots of smiles, its high energy and it shows through in their images!
So I met them on a warmer fall day..we made sure we captured the beautiful fall colors along with some fun urban textures. I just love their images…thank you O’Quinn family for always being so wonderful to work with…you are a rock star family and it’s a joy to capture you!
