What a week. This week we’ve been focusing on establishing processes that help us do what we do better. When owning your own business, it’s hard to let go of some of the things that you feel you have built. It’s hard sometimes, to trust others to do tasks and jobs that you feel that you do best. But I’ve learned, that I don’t always do them best. It’s hard and humbling, but I’m learning and growing in this area! I’m being challenged and learning to trust as well.
One of the things that we have done is interview for some studio help. An organizer. My studio is a big space, and I just can not manage it and all that it entails alone! And teach, shoot, edit (those things that I do best) So we’re in the process of hiring another part of our team. Super excited.
This week I’ve also had to trust God with my kiddos. My kids are going through some things (as all kids do in Middle and High school) and just trusting that God has their heart and will protect them.
Our world is getting ready to change a lot…my husband begins his internship soon and I will no longer have his flexible schedule. (something that I’ve always had and been so grateful for) but that is going to change (and it’s a good thing) but it will be hard. We’ve made it through so many other things, so I know we can do it, but life is going to be a bit crazy here at Castle Caudle.
Our first Camera Camp (beginning photography class) of the year was a HUGE success! We had more people in this class than ever before….and so excited about February and March’s class.
We met and booked with two beautiful brides…excited about capturing their weddings.
We hosted several meetings in the studio. (did you know that you can rent our space for meetings, party’s etc)
We photographed two expectant mothers as part of “the expectant mother‘ ….can not wait to share those images with you.
We have two big announcements next week (a hit) one is for all of you party planners, hostess with the mostesses, etc and the other is for small business owners and creatives who need something that will help take your business to the next level! So big things happening!
I’m super excited to share this sweet baby girls images. I love every single one of them! She and her big sister (and mom and dad) have been in front of my camera for several years now and if you have ever been in my studio, you will see their beautiful family adoring the walls. Thank you W family for allowing me to capture sweet baby Charlotte. I’m so excited to watch her grow this year! Enjoy!
