You can tell it’s summer and I’m traveling a whole lot to the beach for all our beach sessions…how can you tell? Because my poor blog has been neglected and I have so many clients waiting for me to feature their beautiful images!
We’ve had so many new babies and maternity sessions the last few weeks. If you are at all thinking about a maternity or newborn session here are some things to think about:
- Plan Ahead! Though we try really hard to get you into the studio no matter when you call, these days, with our traveling, it’s super hard and sadly, we’ve turned away several new babies because we are already booked! With our travels, it’s super hard to “fit you in”
- Maternity is best taken around 32 weeks: Give or take depending on how you are feeling, but we aim for that time frame
- Newborns are best within the first 10 days: Or earlier if possible!
- Consider our Lullaby Club (baby plan): Nearly ALL our newborn clients are club members…it truly is a great value and gives you so many options for your babies first year!
- Ask Questions: We love it when our clients ask us questions about our sessions and how to prepare. We often have loads of links and printed material that we can send your way, but we love to even just chat and ease your mind. We know it’s a fun time but also a time when you can be a little anxious and you want everything perfect…and we will do our best to help!
- Relax and have fun: If I could give one piece of advice for my new moms is to relax (at least when it comes to pictures) it helps tremendously. Lately I have had the pleasure of working with so many new moms that are just so laid back and relaxed…that atmosphere helps so much when it comes to their session! Enjoy our time, it’s a mile stone in your life and I get the opportunity to share it and capture it for you!
I’m so excited to share these sweet images from not only a beautiful newborn session, but also their maternity session! This sweet (and so much fun) couple has warmed my heart and their little guy has definitely be a huge part of that!
