Here in North Carolina, it’s feeling so much like fall this morning! I love the crispness in the air and the fact that my favorite jeans have been pulled out! I even have a pot of soup on the stove cooking! The studio is starting to look like fall with a new store front window taking shape and lots of great fall sessions! I have been spending some time refelcting on all that I would like this fall to hold for not only Sara-Anne Photography, but for me personally! So many goals, so my things that I have on my “to do” but also things holistically…I have to be better about taking care of me!
Here are just of the few things that I have journaled the last few days:
- Eat at home more often (when things get busy and my life is crazy we tend to eat out more…we’ve been eating healthier, but still eating out is not good)
- exercised 4 times a week (I had been so good about working with my trainer and also hitting the gym, but lately, that has not been good)
- NOT working 3 nights a week (I have to put away the computer in the evenings!)
- Have a garage sale (my garage …oye…it needs so much help and I need to get rid of so much stuff)
- Take my daughter to Nashville (she has longed for this and I think for her birthday, this is a trip that I will make happen)
- Woman’s Study at church (I have made a commitment to get to this study “The Emotionally Healthy Woman” this fall!)
- Plan a weekend getaway for the hubs and I (we had such a wonderful time on our cruise that we realized how much we needed that time)
- Continue to build a team at Sara-Anne Photography! (I’m so excited about our new associate photographer and studio assistant)
Those are just a few of the things that I have on my list this fall…it feels good to put them down!
One of the things that I love about my job is the feedback that I get from my clients! This mom, wrote this note to me shortly after her newborn session! Sara-Anne is an absolutely AMAZING woman and photographer !!! I was given the gift of a maternity session for my birthday by my best friend and godmother to my son. However, I was placed on bed rest shortly after that and wasn’t able to have those pictures done. Sara – Anne went of her way to schedule a newborn mini-session to make up for my loss of maternity pictures. She goes above and beyond to make the babies comfortable with heaters and soft surroundings. Along with patiences she has a innate ability to make a sleeping newborn seem even more angelic. We look forward to many more sessions with her and our family !!!!
Getting notes like this feeds my soul and just reinforces that I’m doing what I was meant to do!
Her little newborn was just the sweetest little guy…and oh so easy! Newborn sessions like that are a dream! I loved his session images!
