5 Tips for a Smooth and Memorable Large Family Beach Photo Session

1. Choose one point person.
This might be the most important tip! With so many moving parts (and personalities), having one family member as the main contact keeps communication streamlined. They’ll work with our team to handle scheduling, outfit guidance, and all the final details.

2. Keep wardrobe simple and cohesive.
You don’t have to match, but coordinating outfits helps the group look pulled together. Think light beach tones—whites, creams, soft blues, sage, and dusty pinks. We’re always happy to give input on color palettes and outfit ideas to take the guesswork out!

3. Plan for the little ones.
Bring snacks, maybe a favorite toy, and plan naps if you can. We work fast, and our sessions are full of movement and play—so don’t stress if the kids aren’t perfectly still. We’re pros at capturing genuine smiles and real moments, wiggles and all.

4. Let go of perfection.
The best photos often come from the in-between moments—laughing with cousins, grandpa holding a toddler’s hand, sand between your toes. When everyone relaxes and just enjoys the moment, that’s when the magic happens. Trust us—we’ll guide you every step of the way.
