I can’t believe we are at the end of yet another week.  It’s been a beautiful week here in NC…gorgeous weather!  Perfect for shooting!  Tomorrow we have a full day as we welcome Katy Osborne, Make Up Artist to the studio for our Teen Shoot!  So excited to photograph the 8 girls who will be coming for a fun filled day!  1 last week before May…before our crazy beach season arrives!

So someone asked me this week, “Sara-Anne, what is your favorite subject to photograph”  and I thought about it for a few moments and though I love all ages, I adore, capturing families.  My business over the years has truly developed into a family photographer.  I love being able to freeze time for them, to provide them with these beautiful images, that they get to have and cherish for years.

I met this mom in the service league…we went to dinner one night (a group of us) and I learned about her love for photography and instantly I knew I needed to know more.  I enjoyed hearing her chat about her kids and her husband and I could immediately tell they were her life.  I soon grew to know,  that not only was she a vibrant woman, who can organize beautiful luncheons and events, but that she has a beautiful soul that loves her family dearly and also her community.  I shared with her about our orchard sessions and it was then, (more than a year ago) she asked me to make sure they get on the calendar!

So I was thrilled when I got to meet her crew that I had heard so much about.  Even with a newly broken arm, her eldest threw on the charm.  Her sweet boy (youngest) kept us all smiling and giggling, and her beautiful baby girl…with eyes that sparkle.  I so enjoyed working with them, but more I have enjoy the friendship I have with this beautiful woman and mom!
