One of the things I have been learning as my business has grown is that in order to keep the growth and provide my clients the experience that I value, I can not do everything alone. This has been an extremely hard lesson to learn and I’m still learning. I’ve realized that Sara-Anne Photography will only go so far if I continue to try to do it all on my own. When something is your “baby” that you have poured hours and hours and tears and sweat into, it’s so hard to let pieces of it go. This last year we hired a studio manager (Amy) and her responsibilities have grown and she is one word “amazing” and so super patient working with me and helping me, but I’ve come to the realization that in order to continue to grow, we have to be able to serve more clients. The only way of being able to do that is simply to have another photographer who can shoot.
So with that, we are now hiring an Associate Photographer. I don’t take this lightly and it’s something that I’ve bathed in prayer (and will continue to do so). I’ve talked with those who are much smarter than me and those that I trust and I’m finally ready. Sara-Anne Photography is ready. It’s all exciting and scary at the same time, but I am going to take this super slow, there will be many chats and conversations to assure that we have the right fit. So if you know of someone who you think might be interested in our position, please send them our way!
