Catching up!  It’s been a while since I updated everyone on all the things happening at the studio and the beach!  It’s been a wonderfully amazing summer even with the global pandemic, we are blessed!  I know this time has been so hard on so many.  Life just doesn’t feel right and it seems to be changing from day to day which is also hard.  Learning to be flexible is the name of the game and having grace!  Grace for ourselves and grace for others!  We will be stronger and better for this, I truly believe it, but it’s hard and no one is minimizing that.

In March, we thought that our summer would look a lot different, but as most families and businesses, we had to pivot and re-adjust!  It was scary, it was hard work, but God has been ever so faithful!

We booked more beach sessions than in previous years (which is a lot) and added an intern, an associate photographer and a editor!  All of those hands, helped to keep things afloat, yes there have been growing pains, yes we missed our office at the coast more than ever, yes I was away from my family more (if thats possible) than years past, but it’s been amazing in so many ways.

We sent our oldest off to college (hard for this mom) our youngest started college at the local community college and our fall has been filled with both beach sessions and the awesome class of 2021 seniors!

So, what does the future look like?

The goal is open back up another location at the beach, to hire another associate photographer and to continue to serve and photograph families and seniors!!!

• SANTA:  We were asked about Santa Pictures, and we came up with a way to do “Santa without Santa”.  (we opened two spots if you are interested)
• FALL PICTURES: Fall Family pictures, will continue both at the beach and here in Burlington!  Gable, has an awesome special for fall family pictures (in Brunswick County)  if you are interested, email the studio here

• SENIORS:  Class of 2021, we are nearly booked for fall (if you can do a weekday we can squeeze you in) BUT we are booking for early spring so get on our calendar if you still need amazing senior pictures!  Check out this link for more details about senior pictures!

I’m so excited to share this lovely young lady’s senior session!  Thanks so the gals at Honeycomb Salon in Shallotte for the awesome hair and make up!  She was up for anything and didn’t question me a bit when I pulled over on the side of a road to a random building and said “here we go”.  (Side note:  Trust us!  A location may look like just a building or the back of one, or may seem like a junk hole, but honestly, I see art!).  We ended up at her high school for some cheer pictures and the entire session was so much fun!  Good luck M, as you finish out your senior year!  We are cheering you on!
