Thankful Tuesday! Senior Portraits Greensboro NC

I’ve been a pretty bad blogger the last few months, this girl, who use to blog every other day, has really fallen off the wagon!  Life has been hard, it’s been difficult, it’s been tiring and though I’m so blessed, I’ve been keeping my head above water!  But in these times, I’m trying to “count it all joy”  I’ve been focused the last few days on all that I’ve been thankful for…it really does help to change your perspective!  Here are just a few things

  1.  Growth in my children:  Last year at this time, we were in crisis mode with our son, I’ve shared bits and pieces about his journey, and someday I’ll share more, but I am so thankful, 1 year out and we are in a much better place!  God is faithful!
  2. Our pups:  I know this may seem silly, but they bring such joy to our house!  From our crazy doodle and her BIG personality to our fisty Shih Tzu who is so loyal, they bring smiles to my face day in and day out
  3. My Bible Study, My Tribe:  God brought these ladies my way at the beginning of the year and boy….they have been a lifeline.  Find a tribe and love them BIG
  4. My office at the Beach:  This helped me so much with keeping current and being productive.  I’m so thankful for that space!
  5. For two weeks of slow:  I know this sounds crazy, but we didn’t get a vacation this year, it’s been non-stop and my body and frankly my mind has taken a hit, so I didn’t schedule any work for two weeks so I could breathe and it’s been amazing.  I didn’t go anywhere fancy, I didn’t do anything really special, but I’ve been able to cook for my family, to go to my son’s games, to shop with my daughter and to date my husband.  It’s been so good!
  6. A road trip with my sister:  We never get to spend much time together, but we went to a reunion together and it was so good to have quality time with her!
  7. My husband:  I don’t say it enough, but that man is one word “AMAZING” he supports me in all that I do, never every questioning.  When people give him a weird look when he says “she works at the beach during the summer” he just sings my praises and keeps encouraging me through it all.  He’s my rock and my support!  I’m so thankful for us!
  8. Health:  Even though our family has some health issues, Chris deals with Muscular Dystrophy, I’ve had my share of issues, there are so many that are really battling tonight…fighting for their lives battle and I’m so thankful for our health!

So today, this is what I’m so grateful for!  This is what helps me to keep things in perspective, that helps me with my Attitude Adjustments…I’m thankful and blessed!

This sweet girl (young woman) has been in front of my camera for some years now.  I’ve watched her grow and mature and had the joy of being able to document her here and there!  She’s a has an infectious smile, she’s so talented, but most of all is her beautiful heart!  I loved working with her for her senior pictures, we had so much fun and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for her!
