Do you ever feel like you are just on auto pilot…coasting? That’s how I feel right now. Honestly, it’s how I’ve been feeling for weeks. It’s been so hard for me to wrap my brain around this season of just being. In my over 10 years of business, I’ve always s had BIG plans, something to work toward and while the nitty-gritty is what occupies most of my time, the goals and dreams had me moving and shaking. I feel the presure to be crazy busy, it feels wrong to have some time for me, in some ways I have been beliving the lie that I’m less than as a business owner becuase I am not buring the candles at both ends.
It’s frustrating to me that I’m not at that place. In fact, I find myself pushing away the “Just be” thoughts and feeling free with the coasting. But this season (exactly what it is) is much needed! It doesn’t mean that I’m less than (the thoughts that plague me) it doesn’t mean that my business isn’t growing (We actually had our biggest summer ever) it doesn’t mean that I don’t have dreams (I do, big ones) it just means that right now, I’m supposed to be present… I’m supposed to take in…I’m suppose to breathe and be ready!
So bear with me as I spend a few more hours with my two (who will both be out of my house in the next 18 months) Know that if I’m not posting on a schedule as I have for years, or if I’m not sharing the future for #saraannephotography it’s just because coasting is exactly where I need to be and though it’s hard, I’m learning to accept it.
A few things to keep in mind if you are interested in a family or senior portraits! We have two sessions available for this year left! That is if you are interested in having pictures back in time for Christmas! The weather has turned, and the leaves are falling and it’s for me “the most wonderful time of the year” for portraits!
Teen Shoots are so popular with our clients. They are usually the only professional pictures that these girls (and sometimes boys) have before a senior year! They are such a confidence booster!
