So with all my orchard sessions, I have gotten so many emails from photographers about where my locations are…and how I find them. The fact is that I work really hard at finding locations. I spend hours, hunting them. I find gems in the most unexpected places. Truth is that I’m able to see what other often cant. I will never forget a senior session that I took this mom and her beautiful daughter to this run down old shop…they kept asking me “are you sure about this?” and I said absolutely! when they received their gallery…they were amazed at the images…they couldn’t believe how the location was just perfect for that session. There are times that I bring clients to fields or building that they have seen over and over…but I find the beauty in it. I think it’s part of what makes me and my photography ME! Yes there are popular spots that all photographers use…in our area, there is a truck that so many have shot at…there is a local park that people LOVE to use and there is the local university…but unless my clients request those specifically….you will never see me there! I want my locations to be special and unique, and because I feel that the help define my style, please don’t get mad at me if I don’t disclose my locations….but you will have fun trying to find some for your shoots, it can become super addictive!
