I very rarely get really personal here on the blog, but today is a day that I will share a bit of my heart. My very full and happy heart! You see, I just got back from 10 glorious days with this man…my love!
For my birthday and to celebrate our 15 years of marriage (that will happen later this year) he took me away on a cruise…he’s been saving his little fund from funerals, from weddings, any birthday money and away we went. He has always given so sacrificially for us, for our marriage, for our family!
We visited some amazing islands…(I’ll share more when I have time to go through the images) we did some really fun things (snorkeling, sailboat riding, touring islands and lots of dining) but most of all we connected! I realized again (which I’m often reminded of) as to why God chose this man for me!
We’ve had a hell of a year…probably our most difficult. We’ve had job changes (not easy ones), we’ve suffered extreme betrayal by people that we called friends, we’ve had physical and health challenges, we’ve faced circumstances that we thought were going to destroy us, but we’ve had to re-group and be determined that the difficulties that we have faced were not going to deftest us, but make us stronger…and more than stronger individually, they have made us stronger as a couple and together, with God we will be okay…in-fact, better! This man, has always encouraged me to stay strong, to take the road that is less traveled, to lean on God for all my strength, to reach down in side and to remember who God has created me to be and go and be it! He is my biggest cheerleader and Im blessed to have him as my rock. Im blessed that he loves me…me with all my faults…he loves me so much and I’m so thankful!
So yes, I’m back in reality with 22 sessions in 30 days (the craziest yet) most of them beach sessions so you will have to be patient with me as I try to stay on top of things. Thankfully I have an amazing intern who is keeping the fort down at the studio this summer. I’m still looking for two associate photographers…if you are interested, please email me for details.
We are booked for June for beach sessions (have a bit of availability for July and August) and we are getting lots and lots of request for information on our baby plan (JOY just one year) program. It truly is the best way to go if you are interested in more than one session in your babies first year!
