It’s been a couple of whirlwind days…here we go
- we are so grateful for those who came out and helped us move on Thursday….it was such a blessing to us. They moved everything from our storage which we were so suprised. We are so blessed by people who offer to help us do things in our new home…install shelves, refinish furniture, put together Micah’s bed which you need a nuculear physisit degree to do. So thank you MCBC family and my friends who are just so wonderful. You have truly helped us in ways you have no idea.
- Micah turned 9 yesterday. I can’t believe my baby boy (yes he’s my baby boy) is 9..9!!!! Micah you are truly a joy to us…you have brought so much joy and laughter into our lives. I remember first finding out I was pregnant with you and I never ever imagined that being your mom would be the experience you have given me. I would never have imagined that some little boy would capture my heart like you have. You have such a sweet sweet spirit. You are a joy to those who you come in contact with, from the waitress at the IHOP to your teachers…to your family. I am continually amazed at how God has gifted you. You are so very coordinated…(I have no ideas where you got that from) You have a amazing memory, like your dad, you have a thrist for knowledge and I love that when I purchase gifts for you…they mostly come from the education store becuase you love it. It makes this mommy so happy. I am so proud of you…I am proud of how well you do in school, how well you know about the things of the Lord, of your deep faith, of your love for your friends, and how much you love your family. The one thing that I pray for you this personal new year….is that you learn to love and appreciate your sister more. She loves you and I know you love her….but I hope that you are more tolerant this year
So Micah, keep thriving for more, keep smiling, keep pushing forward, keep being sweet, keep obeying, keep your kind heart. All these things make you YOU! And I am so proud to and thankful to be your mom! Happy Birthday! (so normally I do a session and would have it, but this year we haven’t gotten to it due to the snow) - I love winter…but I really don’t like wet cold rain….I have sessions to reschedule, landscaping to do etc…happy snow to my family who is up in the NoVA area and they are getting 30″ WOW!
