Moving round 1 is happening today! It is never fun to move, and it seems that there is always something, and this move has not been without it’s issues…mainly the weather. It has been snowy and rainy and makes it very hard to gather volunteers and people to help. We hope to move all our boxes from the storage facility today and then the rest of the big stuff tomorrow.
Thankfully it seems that the weather event for this weekend is going to be more like rain and so that means that the Daddy / Daughter dance scheduled and Micah’s 9th birthday party will still take place
Questions and Answer time again:
What is my favorite lens and what aperture do I shoot with? Well I almost always have the 85L (which is a prime lens) on my camera…it has the widest aperture that Canon has to offer. I usually shoot half way. You can see the lens here
What are your favorite blogs? I use to stalk blogs all the time, but I have to say, I don’t have as much time as I use to. But here are a few that I love to read over and over. How do you find locations? I go and hunt for them. I’ll put the kids in the car and we will drive around. I look for places that are not over used (I really don’t like shooting at the “local gardens” ) I love to find places that you would never think about using….like this one below…when I took this senior to this location I could see in her mom’s face “really?” but then they saw the pictures and could see how much fun this location was.
What is my favorite age to shoot? Oh goodness…I love them all, but I have to say I really enjoy toddlers…and do you know it’s the age I photograph the least…but I love their energy and the fact that you can never plan for the session…you just have to roll with it and the images that you can get can be fantastic. Love it! And because I love toddlers so much…if you have a child(ren) between the ages of 2-4 and want to book as session, I’ll will give you a $50 print credit. So email me.
